The Coraopolis Community Development Corporation’s mission is to work toward the equitable growth and revitalization of Coraopolis by providing residents with tools to lead to self-sufficiency, continuing to grow the town’s business district, and improving the overall quality of life in our community.

At the heart of the organization’s mission is the well-being and prosperity of the people we serve in Coraopolis, Neville Island, Moon Township, Crescent Township, and Groveton. The CCDC addresses social service needs such as food insecurity, promotes the growth of the town's business district, and supports redevelopment and town beautification projects. In addition to our overall economic development work, our signature programs include:

1) The Coraopolis Food Pantry provides for the food security needs of over 400 local families monthly.

2) The Weekend Snack Pack Program provides sustainable nutrition to 183 local children during the weekends throughout the school year.

3) The Coraopolis Community Garden grows 1500 pounds each year for the food pantry and provides a beautiful green space in downtown Coraopolis.

4) The restoration of Coraopolis Train Station honors the town's past while pushing toward a wonderful future.

5) CCDC's festivals (Fall Festival and Second Saturdays) bring thousands of people into Coraopolis every year to enjoy the festivals and explore our beautiful town.

6) Our Age-Friendly partnership is making Coraopolis a wonderful town to grow old.
